Educational qualification :
Have passed +2 examination or equivalent examination conducted by the council of higher secondary education, odisha or by any other recognized university.
Physical standard test details :
- UR / SEBC / Boys candidates : height : 168 cm / weight : 55 kg / chest : 79 – 84 cm
- UR / SEBC Female candidates : height : 158 cm / weight : 47.5 kg
- SC / ST Boys candidates : height : 163 cm / weight : 50 kg / chest : 76 – 81 cm
- SC / ST Female candidates : height : 153 cm / weight : 45 kg
Selection process :
- Written examination
- Physical standard test
- Physical efficiency test
- Driving test ( optional )
Written examination details : 100 marks
The candidates shall be required to appear a written examination which shall consist of objective type multiple choice questions only. the examination shall be conducted in a transparent manner suing OMR / OCR / CBT.
The question in the written examination shall comprise of odia language, english language, arithmetic, general knowledge, logical reasoning, basic computer knowledge.
The standard of questions shall be such that who has passed 12th examination will be able to answer. There shall be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in written examination.
The medium of written examination shall be english except the question in odia language.
Physical efficiency test : qualifying only
- 1.6 kilometers in 06 minutes 30 seconds
- Broad jump in 3.66 meters in 03 attempt
Physical efficiency test for Female :
- 1.6 kilometers in 08 minutes 30 seconds
- Broad jump – 2.75 meters in 03 attempts
