Selection Process Details :
First Phase : Written Test
Second Phase : PST, PET & Documentation
All the candidates appearing in this stage must have to qualify the PST/PET and documentation for further appearing in the next stage.
Third Phase : Final Medical Examination
Exam Pattern Details :
1. The MCQ type written examination of 03 hours duration will be conducted at selected centers on the date and time fixed by HQ DG BSF
2. For every MCQ question of 02 marks, 0.05 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer
3. Question language will be English as well as Hindi
4. In the written examination MCQ paper, there will be 100 questions of 200 marks, divided in following four parts :
1. Physics : 40 Question / 80 Marks
2. Mathematics : 20 Question / 40 Marks
3. Chemistry : 20 Question / 40 Marks
4. English & General Knowledge : 20 Question / 40 marks
Educational Qualification :
1. Head Constable ( Radio Operator ) :
Candidate must have passed Matriculation or Equivalent with ITI OR
Pass 12th Standard or Equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and math and aggregate 60% marks in PCM subject.
2. Head Constable ( Radio Mechanic ) :
Candidate must have passed Matriculation or Equivalent with ITI OR
Pass 12th Standard or Equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and math and aggregate 60% marks in PCM subject.
BSF HC PET 2022 :
1. Male candidates : 1.6 km race in 6.5 minutes / Female candidates : 800 mtrs race to be completed in 4 minutes
2. Long Jump : Male candidates : 3.65 mtrs in three chance / Female candidates : Long Jump : 9 feet in three chance
3. High Jump : Male candidates : 1.2 mtrs in three chance / Female candidates : 3 feet in three chance
