As per requisition filed by the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Odisha, the category wise vacancy position along with reservation thereof is given below :
◆ For UR Candidates : 196 Posts Vacancy
◆ For SEBC Candidates : 114 Posts Vacancy
◆ For SC Candidates : 576 Posts Vacancy
◆ For ST Candidates : 985 Posts Vacancy
Out of the total 1871 number of vacancies mentioned above, the reservation of vacancies in respect of Sports person and person with Disabilities are given below.

OPSC Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria :
◆ A candidate must have passed M.B.B.S. Or Equivalent Degree from a Medical College or Medical Institution Recognized by the Medical Council of India.
◆ Have passed a valid registration certificate under the Odisha Medical Registration Act. 1961 provided that, if a candidate outside of Odisha has not registered his name under the Odisha Council of Medical Registration established under Section 3 of the Odisba Medical Registration Act, 1961, he shall get himself registered as per the provisional of the said Act before issue of the appointment order and
◆ Have passed required conservation certificate recognized by Medical Council of India ( MCI ) in case of candidates having Degree from University of Foreign Countries.
Odisha Public Service Commission Recruitment 2021 Age Limit :
◆ A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 32 years as on 1st January 2021, he / she must have been born not earlier than 2nd January 1989 and not later than 1st January 2000.
◆ Age Relaxation is Applicable as per Govt Rules.
OPSC Recruitment 2021 Selection Process :
◆ The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts of Medical Officer ( Assistant Surgeon ) shall be adjudging on the basis of Written Test.
◆ The Written examination shall comprise of one paper of 200 marks. There shall be 200 questions carrying one mark each of Multiple Choice Questions ( MCQ ).
◆ The duration of examination shall be three ( 3 ) hours there shall be no negative marking lie wrong towers.
OPSC Recruitment Application Fees :
◆ A candidate is required to pay a non – refundable fee of Rs – 500 /- only candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe of Odisha and Person with Disabilities no fees.
