Educational Qualification Full Details :

◆ Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent

2. Assistant Audit Officer / Assistant Accounts Officer : 

◆ Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.

3. Junior Statistical Officer : 

◆ Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th Standard Level or

◆ Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subject at Degree level.

4. Statistical Investigator Grade – ll : 

◆ Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subject from a recognized University or Institute. The candidate must have studied statistics as a subject in all the three years of the Graduate course.

 

Exam Pattern Full Details :

The Examination will be conducted in four tires as indicated below : 

◆ Tier-l : Computer Based Examination

◆ Tier-ll : Computer Based Examination

◆ Tier-lll : Pen and Paper Mode ( Descriptive Paper )

◆ Tier-lV : Computer Proficiency Test / Data Entry Skill Test / Document Verification

Scheme of Tier-l and Tier-ll Examination : 

1. General Intelligence & Reasoning : 25 Questions, 50 Marks

General Awareness : 25 Questions, 50 Marks

Quantitative Aptitude : 25 Questions and 50 Marks

English Comprehension : 25 Questions and 50 Marks

◆ Time Duration : 60 Minutes

2. Paper – I : Quantitative Abilities : 100 Questions and 200 Marks

Paper -ll : English Language : 200 Questions and 200 Marks

Paper – lll : Statistics : 100 Questions and 200 Marks

Paper – IV : General Studies : 100 Questions and 200 Marks

◆ Time Duration : 120 Minutes

Important Points : 

◆ Tier-l and Tier -ll will consist of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions only.

◆ The Questions will be set both in English & Hindi.

◆ In Tier-l, there will be Negative Marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer.

◆ In Tier-ll, there will be Negative Marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer and 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-l, Paper-ll and Paper-lV

◆ In Tier-ll Paper-l and Paper-ll are compulsory for all the post.

◆ Paper-lll of Tier-ll will be for only those candidate who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer ( JSO ) in the Ministry of Statistics.

Scheme of Tier-lll Examination : 

1. Pen and Paper Mode : 

◆ Descriptive Paper in English or Hindi – Writing of Essay / Précis / Letter / Application etc.

◆ Maximum Mark : 100 

◆ Time Duration : 60 Minutes

2. Computer Proficiency Test and Data Entry Skill Test.

General Intelligence and Reasoning : 

◆ It would be included questions of both verbal and non verbal type : This component may include questions on analogy, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgement, decision making, visual memory, discrimination observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, asthmatic number series, non verbal series, coding and deciding.
