Navy MR Eligibility Criteria Details : 

◆ Candidate must have passed Matriculation Examination from the Boards of School Education Recognized by Ministry of Education Govt. of India.

Salary Details : Rs – 21,700 /- to Rs – 69,100 /- Per Month ( Rs – 14,600 – Training )

 

 

Indian Navy Recruitment : 2021 Job Description –

1. Chef : 

◆ They would be required to prepare food as per menu ( both vegetarian and non-vegetarian including handling of meat products ) and accounting of ration. In addition, they will also be allocated other duties as per Service Requirements.

2. Steward : 

◆ They would be required to serve food in the officer messes, as waiters, housekeeping, accounting of funds, wine and stores, preparation of menu etc. In addition, they will also be allotted other duties as per Service Requirements.

3. Hygienist : 

◆ They will be required to clean washroom, shower and other areas. In addition, they will also be allotted other duties as per Service Requirements.

 

Indian Navy Selection Process : 2021

◆ Due to COVID-19 pandemic, an exception is being made in the public interest wherein approximately 1750 candidates will be called-up for written examination and PFT.

◆ The shortlisting of the candidates for written examination and PFT will be undertaken on the basis of Percentage of Qualifying Examination ( 10th Class ).

◆ The cut off marks may vary from State to State as vacancies have been allocated in a State-wise manner.

 

Written Test Details : 

◆ The question paper will be bilingual ( Hindi & English ) and Objective Types.

◆ The question paper will be comprises Two sections : Science / Mathematics And General Knowledge.

◆ The standards of questions paper will be of 10th level and the syllabus for the examination is available on : www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.

◆ Duration of examination will be 30 minutes.

 

Physical Fitness Test Details : 

◆ Qualifying in Physical Fitness Test ( PFT ) is mandatory for selection.

◆ PFT will consist of 1.6 KM run to be completed in 07 minutes.

N.B : Merit list for MR will be prepared based on percentage of written examination subject to qualifying in nature of PFT.

◆ Approximately 400 candidates will be issued call up Medical Examination.

◆ Minimum Height : 157 CM.

◆ Weight and chest should be proportionate.

1. Science Subject : 

◆ Nature of matters, Universe : planets / earth / satellites / sun . Electricity and applications.

◆ Force and Gravitation, Newton’s Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power

◆ Heat, Temperature, Metals and nonmetals, Carbon and its Compounds, Measurements in Science, Sound and Wave Motion, Atomic Structure.

 

2. Mathematics Subject : 

◆ Mathematical Simplification, Ratio and Proportion, Algebraic Identities, Linear Education and Polynomials, Simulations, Equation, Basic Trigonometry.

◆ Simple Mensuration, Geometry, Measures of Central Tendency ( Average / Median / Mode ).

◆ Interest, Profit, Loss and Percentage, Work, Time, Speed and Distance.

 

Section B : General Awareness : 

◆ Geography : Soil, Rivers, Mountain, Ports, Inland and Harbours

◆ Culture And Religion, Freedom Movement, Important National Facts about India, Heritage, Arts and Dance.

◆ History, Defence, Wars and Neighbors, Awards and Authors, Discoveries, Diseases and Nutrition.

◆ Current Affairs, Languages, Capital and Currency, Common Names, Full From and Abbreviations.

◆ Eminent personality, National : Bird, Animal, Sports, Flowers, Anthem, Song, Flag, Mountains.
