Age Limit : As on : 01 January 2021

◆ Candidate Minimum Age should be : 18 years

◆ Candidate Maximum Age should be : 32 years

◆ Age Relaxation is Applicable : SC / ST / OBC / PWD Candidates

Application Fee Details : 

◆ For General / OBC Candidates : Rs – 200 /- 

◆ For SC / ST / PWD Candidates : No Fee

 

Plan of Examination : OSSC Junior Stenographer Posts : 

1. English : 25 Marks and 30 Minutes and Objective Type Questions

2. Odia : 25 Marks, 30 Minutes and Objective Type Questions

3. English Shorthand Test : 5 Minutes @80 words per minutes and 50 Marks

4. Transcription on Computer : 25 Minutes @16 words per minutes and 50 Marks

◆ Half 1/2 marks shall be deducted per mistake. Qualifying marks shall be : 33%.

 

Educational Qualification Details : 

The candidate in order to be eligible for appearing in the selection examination for the post must have passed.

◆ Higher Secondary ( +2 ) in Arts / Science / Commerce certificate Examination or Equivalent School leaving Examination.

◆ Passed a minimum speed of Eighty ( 80 ) words per minutes in shorthand both in English & Odia Language.

Salary : Rs – 14,200 /- Per Month

 

General Eligibility Criteria : 

◆ a citizen of India

◆ of good character

◆ of sound health, good physique and free from defects or bodily infirmity

◆ must not have more than one spouse living

◆ must have passed M.E School Examination with Odia as language subject or

◆ have passed HSC Examination or equivalent examination with Odia as Medium of examination non-language subject

◆ passed in Odia as language subject in the final examination of class – VII and above

◆ passed a test in Odia in M.E School standard conducted by Education Department.
